 We further affirm and proclaim: "Jesus Christ is the promised Messiah of the Old Testament, who was conceived of a virgin through the divine seed of the Holy Spirit, that He was crucified at Calvary, that through the shedding of His blood paid the full price for our sins, that He died and was in the grave for 3 days and 3 nights according to the sign of Jonas, that on the third day He was resurrected by God the Father, that He is now seated at the right hand of God making intercession for all saints, that He will return, according to the Father's will, in a visible, personal, glorified bodily form, to receive those who are in Christ, both the dead and the alive, and that no man knows the time of His return." This Seminary takes its name from Ephesians 5:15-21 (KJV) "See then that ye walk circumspectly {akribos}, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is and be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of Christ." |
